It is with mixed emotions that I share with you the news that after sixteen extraordinary years as the Principal at Bacich, my husband and I will be leaving the Bay Area next summer and relocating to Austin, Texas where we will be closer to our children and our granddaughter. I will be retiring from Bacich at the end of our school year.
I was hired in the spring of 2004 when Bacich had 483 students enrolled. Within a few months of taking the reins at Bacich, I knew this was a very special place with extraordinary educators, committed parents, and students who made every day a blessing to come to work. I knew that I would make the Kentfield School District my home.
My years in the District, have been nothing short of amazing. Working under the leadership of three dedicated and talented superintendents, I have learned so much about education, the joys associated with being a school leader, the fulfillment of providing each and every child a first-rate educational experience and an early understanding of what it means to be a kind, thoughtful, and caring person. The opportunities to lead a top-notch school have been endless, and the support of our families and the Kentfield community have made this possible.
I thank you for allowing me to be a part of the Bacich School community for so many years. It has truly been a pleasure.
